Looking past the illusion of words
Like a magician who has revealed the illusion behind his magic, the imagery of words can also be scrutinized. When we look back on a current event that is filled with doubts and situations that seemed insurmountable, we are really only looking at a negative dialogue that we choose to play for ourselves. At some point in the future, that same horrific dialogue may seem humorous when we realize that we really had nothing to fear at all. The same holds true with our fear of death and the unknown. Here is an interesting exercise in the composition of words and how the letters can be re-arranged to reveal a completely different perspective. While clever and entertaining, it can also serve to illustrate how words, themselves, can harbour meanings that are not readily visible to those who only look at the surface.
