Frequently Asked Questions
What is naturopathy?
This is actually a very good question! And it’s one we’re asked time and time again. Please see our free article The Nature of Naturopathic Medicine for a ton of great information on the subject.
How much do you charge for your services?
This depends on the specific treatment that you require. BalanSoul offers value for money, rather than being ‘cheap’. It may be appealing to trust your health to someone who isn’t as qualified, but please keep in mind that, more often than not, you get what you pay for. Your health is precious; please choose a practitioner who is a member of a reputable association. It’s important to note that I always ask my clients what budget they wish to work with, which gives me an idea of what types of brands I’m able to prescribe.
Are your fees claimable?
No, we are currently not claimable through private health insurance. We are hoping this will change in the future.
Are you a member of any associations?
Absolutely. I’m a member of the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA), and the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP).
Are distance treatments the same as in-person consultations? And how do I access the remedies that I require when the
consultation is via the phone or email?
Distance treatments are the same, or better. I am finding that these days people are so busy that they can’t even make time to visit a naturopath due to their hectic schedules. Distance treatments allow people to access expert naturopathic care from the comfort of their own home at a time that suits them, just by picking up the phone. I then organise for the remedies to be delivered to their door. It’s completely free of hassle.
Another great benefit is that once we’ve done the consultation, unlike a face-to-face consultation, I can think about your case in-depth and make your treatment more specific by doing further research.
See the Distance Consultations and Treatmentsfor more information.
Do you offer face-to-face consultations in my own home?
Yes, you may be eligible for face-to-face consultations within certain areas of Shepparton and surrounding areas. Please get in touch through our Contact Us page to see if you are eligible to have a mobile face-to-face consultation.
